If you're adding lighting where there's no existing fixture, we run wiring through walls and ceilings with minimal disruption and patch any access points before we leave.
Adding a lot of new fixtures or a shop full of LED lighting can mean the existing circuit is already full. When that happens we run a dedicated circuit instead of overloading the one you have.

Lighting Work in Olathe Homes
We are based in Olathe, and lighting calls here follow the housing. In older ranch homes, a room may have one ceiling box or none, so recessed cans and ceiling fans mean new wiring and a fan-rated box. Older switch boxes often have no neutral wire, which most smart switches need, so we check that before you buy the switches. In newer builds, the common asks are cans in a finished basement, under-cabinet lights in a kitchen remodel, and outdoor lighting on a patio or garage.

Recessed Lights, Fans, and Smart Switches
Recessed lighting goes in with remodel-style cans through small holes in the drywall. Ceiling fans get a fan-rated box every time, not a light box that works loose. Smart switches get a neutral run where the old box lacks one. Outdoor fixtures get weatherproof boxes and wiring to code.

What Happens on the Visit
We plan the layout with you, check the circuit, and give you the price before any holes go in the ceiling.
- Walk the rooms. Mark fixture and switch locations, and check ceiling framing and attic access.
- Check the circuit. Existing load, a neutral at the switch for smart switches, and a fan-rated box for any fan.
- Quote before we start. Fixtures, wiring runs, and any new circuit, priced up front.
- Install and test. Fixtures centered, wiring concealed, access points patched, every light and switch tested.
